As the Chemical Engineering Manager, You Will…
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of process and project engineers supporting continuous manufacturing operations
- Own process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and throughput
- Serve as a technical leader for process safety management (PSM), MOC, and operational excellence programs
- Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Plant Leadership to resolve technical challenges and support production goals
- Support and execute capital projects, from front‑end scoping through commissioning and startup
- Drive improvements in yield, reliability, cost, and overall plant performance through data‑driven decision making
The Chemical Engineering Manager Should Have…
- BS in Chemical Engineering (required)
- 8+ years of experience in chemical or related manufacturing environments
- Prior experience leading, mentoring, or developing engineers (formal or informal leadership)
- Strong exposure to:
- Continuous chemical processes
- Plant support and troubleshooting
- Capital project execution
- Process safety and MOC systems
- Experience in specialty chemicals, polymers, resins, or advanced materials is strongly preferred
