About the Role
We are currently partnering with a leading international terminal business to hire a high-potential Commercial Supply Chain Specialist to join their growing team in Rotterdam.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional with 3-5 years' experience to step into a dynamic, commercially focused role, working closely with senior leadership and gaining exposure to complex, large-scale supply chain operations within the (steel/logistics) sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of commercial supply chain strategies
- Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders across the supply chain
- Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored logistics and service solutions
- Collaborate closely with operations and commercial teams to deliver value-added services
- Contribute to business growth through innovative and customer-centric thinking
- Assist in analysing market trends, performance metrics, and commercial opportunities
Candidate Profile
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, consulting, or private equity
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to understand client needs and translate into solutions
- Background in consulting, private equity, or structured corporate environments is highly desirable
- Analytical, entrepreneurial, and eager to learn
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Languages
Fluent in English and Dutch
Additional languages are a strong plus
