The EHS Manager will be responsible for…
- Improvement of overall EHS functions within the workplace including creating new safety initiatives, mitigating risks, and driving incident investigation
- Working with both management and workers to provide clear safety communication and manage an effective workplace balance
- Assisting with EHS data analysis, trend reporting, and workers' compensation claim reporting
The EHS Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field
- 7+ years of industry experience in occupational safety and health
- OSHA certified or other occupational safety certifications preferred
- Willingness to travel ~35% of the time
- Proficiency with safety management software
- Ability to withstand physical demands such as long-term standing, lifting heavy material, and moving up to 25 pounds
