Job Description: They are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Engineer to join their team in the Greater NYC area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier components to the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and reliability of facility systems.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for facility upgrades and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage facility projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
