Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description:
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the maintenance department within a bioenergy manufacturing facility. This role ensures the efficient functioning, safety, and reliability of all plant equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, managing spare parts inventory, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize plant productivity. The Maintenance Supervisor also ensures compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians and contractors.
Plan and execute preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in coordination with operations.
Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams on process improvements and equipment upgrades.
Qualifications:
Technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or energy-related environment.
Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices and CMMS systems.
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
