Maintenance Supervisor

Take on a key leadership role as a Maintenance Supervisor at a fast‑paced, 24/7 production facility. In this hands-on position, you'll guide a team of maintenance professionals, support safe and reliable equipment performance, and drive continuous improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and facility leadership to enhance safety, product quality, and equipment reliability.
  • Lead daily maintenance activities and manage site capital projects.
  • Apply mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain production equipment, utilities, buildings, and grounds.
  • Use a CMMS to manage preventive maintenance and improve asset performance.
  • Act on maintenance performance indicators to strengthen equipment effectiveness.
  • Stay current on relevant industry regulations, codes, and best practices.
  • Ensure all company policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
  • Provide leadership through planning, organizing, delegating, and evaluating work.
  • Oversee employee development, performance management, and workforce decisions, including involvement in labor-related matters when applicable.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of plant maintenance technician experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing equipment such as fillers, blow molders, conveyors, and air compressors.
  • Strong electrical background, including 480V three‑phase motor controls.
  • PLC experience (Allen Bradley preferred); programming ability is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, fabrication, welding, or machining is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and CMMS systems; JDE experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead teams through change.
