Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and facility leadership to enhance safety, product quality, and equipment reliability.
- Lead daily maintenance activities and manage site capital projects.
- Apply mechanical and electrical expertise to maintain production equipment, utilities, buildings, and grounds.
- Use a CMMS to manage preventive maintenance and improve asset performance.
- Act on maintenance performance indicators to strengthen equipment effectiveness.
- Stay current on relevant industry regulations, codes, and best practices.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
- Provide leadership through planning, organizing, delegating, and evaluating work.
- Oversee employee development, performance management, and workforce decisions, including involvement in labor-related matters when applicable.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of plant maintenance technician experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing equipment such as fillers, blow molders, conveyors, and air compressors.
- Strong electrical background, including 480V three‑phase motor controls.
- PLC experience (Allen Bradley preferred); programming ability is a plus.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, fabrication, welding, or machining is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and CMMS systems; JDE experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead teams through change.
