Salary: $105,000 + 25% bonus
Company Summary:
A manufacturing operation supporting the residential construction industry is seeking a Manager of Customer Operations to drive plant performance and cross-functional coordination. This role sits within a plant environment and is responsible for aligning production support functions-scheduling, logistics, materials, and quality-with the needs of internal field teams.
The Manager of Customer Operations will be responsible for:
* Leading daily operations across scheduling, logistics, materials, quality, and admin functions
* Aligning production output with customer demand and delivery timelines
* Partnering with production and internal teams to coordinate execution and resolve issues
* Managing scheduling, capacity planning, and delivery performance
* Overseeing logistics and transportation coordination
* Driving quality improvements and resolving operational challenges
* Coordinating materials and inventory with procurement
* Tracking performance metrics and identifying improvements
* Leading and developing a small team
* Supporting plant initiatives and process improvements
The Manager of Customer Operations should have the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required
* 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
* Experience across multiple operational functions (planning, logistics, materials, or quality)
* Strong understanding of production workflows
* Ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems
* Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Exposure to continuous improvement is a plus
* Must be able to work onsite in Kings Mountain, NC
