This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in managing complex construction projects and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual standards.
Role Description
As a Project Engineer for Construction, you will be responsible for supervising construction activities, managing project documentation, and supporting project managers throughout the entire lifecycle of large-scale projects. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and cost control while ensuring timely delivery.
- Supervise construction sites to uphold safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and review project documentation, quotations, and change requests.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and maintain accurate records.
- Provide technical support to project managers and assist in resolving issues.
- Monitor project costs, manage change orders, and support negotiations.
- Review and approve invoices and verify construction progress.
- Prepare status reports on project costs and timelines for senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction technology and large-scale project execution.
- Proven experience in project management, risk assessment, and conflict resolution.
- Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; AutoCAD experience is desirable.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel internationally and a valid driver's license.
