Plant Controller (Multi-site)
Role Overview
We're seeking a seasoned Multi-Site Plant Controller to lead financial operations across our North American manufacturing facilities, including direct oversight of our flagship plant in Texas. This strategic role blends hands-on plant controllership with regional leadership, driving consistency, accuracy, and insight across all financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage plant controllership teams across North America, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
Oversee all aspects of plant and product costing, P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Act as the Plant Controller for our largest manufacturing site in Longview, Texas.
Execute advanced general and cost accounting functions to support operational excellence.
Standardize financial policies, procedures, and reporting across all manufacturing locations.
Develop and maintain SOPs for recurring financial activities.
Advise senior leadership on financial strategy, cost optimization, and cash flow improvement.
Consolidate and report daily/monthly financial data for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with General Managers and site teams to support business initiatives and performance tracking.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and Crosby Group's accounting policies.
Manage journal entries and general ledger activity within SAP S/4HANA.
Prepare and analyze accruals, scrap, absorption, labor efficiency, and other operational reports.
Monitor capital expenditures and maintenance costs for financial accuracy and control.
Analyze inventory trends and recommend improvements to reduce excess and enhance accounting practices.
Coordinate internal and external audits in partnership with corporate accounting.
Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required); CPA designation (preferred).
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and plant controllership within a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership in managing high-performing accounting teams across multiple sites.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
