Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead our packaging facility in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of packaging processes and manufacturing best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
  • Manage plant budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures.
  • Build and maintain a high-performance culture through effective leadership, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, engineering, and customer service.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • Proven track record of managing plant operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging machinery, materials, and production processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
