Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift
One of our clients in the Dairy industry is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their growing team. The production Supervisor will oversee plant operations during assigned shift, supervise union employees, manage maintenance and wastewater systems, ensure customer orders meet specifications and delivery timelines, and enforce company policies and federal regulations.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $100,000-$115,000
Work Schedule: Rotating workdays between 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) and 3rd shift(10pm-6:30am). Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and federal holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Supervised daily plant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, productivity, and safety.
- Resolved work-related issues and supported employees with concerns and motivation strategies.
- Conducted inspections to maintain compliance with GMP and quality standards.
- Managed scheduling and documentation, including production records, accident reports, and regulatory filings.
- Supported SQF food safety and quality initiatives through hygiene, training, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Prior dairy experience is highly preferred (beverage experience may also be relevant)
- Minimum of 3 years of production leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to plan and lead effective work procedures, manage resources, and adapt to changing operational needs while serving as part of the management team.
- Skilled in communication, regulatory compliance, staff development, and available for rotational 24-hour emergency on-call support.
