R&D Chemist -UV Liquid
We are seeking a talented R&D Chemist to support the development and optimization of ink and coating technologies, with a strong focus on UV-based applications within the flexible packaging space. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys working in a laboratory environment, solving complex formulation challenges, and collaborating cross-functionally with customers, sales, and manufacturing teams. The position involves developing new formulations, troubleshooting product performance issues, evaluating raw materials, and improving existing products for both performance and cost-efficiency. You will also play a key role in providing technical support, communicating findings through reports, and ensuring smooth scale-up from lab to production.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field and 3-5+ years of experience in ink or coating formulation, with strong lab-based experience. Knowledge of UV or EB technologies is highly preferred, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, effective documentation practices, and the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions. Customer-facing or technical service experience is a plus, as this role requires adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset.
