Regional Senior Sales Manager - China

As the Regional Senior Sales Manager - Guangdong, China, you will lead the strategic growth of the company's business across one of China's most dynamic industrial and commercial hubs. This role demands a results-driven leader to expand market share in backup, prime, and hybrid power solutions, drive distributor excellence, and deliver sustainable revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Director to align regional tactics with national strategies while addressing the region's unique energy demands.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of sales executives and technical specialists
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting high-growth sectors in the region such as manufacturing clusters and ports, data centers and networks, as well as shopping malls, business complexes in main commercial cities.
  • Achieve annual sales targets by developing new clients as well as maintaining existing key accounts.
  • Optimize a distributor/dealer network across the region, ensuring compliance with pricing, technical standards
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to drive partner performance and resolve conflicts.
  • Recruit and onboard new partners in underserved markets
  • Directly manage relationships with strategic clients
  • Lead tender responses for large-scale projects (e.g., backup power for data centers).
  • Implement CRM tools for pipeline accuracy and real-time forecasting.
  • Provide ongoing coaching on consultative selling, competitive positioning, and technical product expertise.
  • Monitor the region's regulatory shifts
  • Collaborate with Engineering to tailor products for the region's operational challenges

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's in mechanical/electrical engineering or business related discipline
  • 8+ years in power generation/heavy machinery sales
  • Good knowledge of generator specifications such as emissions compliance
  • Familiarity with hybrid systems (e.g., diesel-solar-battery) and IoT-enabled monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills in Chinese and good in English
  • Strategic agility, negotiation mastery, and ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
