Schedule & Shift
- 12-hour rotating shift (6AM-6PM)
- 2-2-3 schedule: This typically means:
- Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days
- Then the pattern flips the next week (off 2, work 2, off 3)
- Rotating weekends off - good for work-life balance
Core Responsibilities
- Automation & Controls: Evaluate, select, and maintain automation hardware/software
- System Support: Troubleshoot and improve packaging/processing equipment
- Documentation: Maintain control system documentation and change control procedures
- Food Safety & Quality: Support plant initiatives in compliance with safety standards
Technical Skills Required
- PLC Programming: Allen-Bradley (RSLogix 5, 500, 5000), SLC-500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix
- HMI/SCADA: FIX32/iFIX, PanelView/Plus
- Drives & Networks: PowerFlex VFDs, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Remote I/O
- Instrumentation: Transmitters, sensors, PID loop tuning, calibration
- Schematics: Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs, and electrical diagrams
- Documentation: Electrical audits and updates
