Senior Chemical Process Engineer
The Senior Process Engineer plays a key role in designing, scaling up, and optimizing chemical manufacturing processes from laboratory development through pilot and full-scale production. As part of the Global Process Engineering team, this position provides advanced expertise in chemical engineering and process development, with a strong focus on reaction chemistry, process control, and P&ID creation. Acting as a technical leader, the role supports global initiatives and ensures efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality process implementation.
Responsibilities Include:
* Lead the design and scale-up of chemical processes from lab to commercial scale, emphasizing reaction chemistry and process control.
* Develop and maintain accurate Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for new and existing systems.
* Plan, execute, and analyze pilot-scale studies to drive process improvements and implement new technologies.
* Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless technology transfer and manufacturability of new products.
* Apply deep chemical engineering knowledge to create safe, scalable, and sustainable processes while improving efficiency and reducing costs.
* Troubleshoot processes and equipment, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and compliance.
Requirements Include:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, including process development, scale-up, or production.
