Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical liaison for medical device support, ensuring effective communication across international teams-particularly in Japanese and English.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Product Support and Monitoring teams to meet shared goals while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose device issues, including use-case analysis, service log interpretation, and component testing.
- Engage in hands-on work with device assembly/disassembly and Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) service models.
- Act as a subject matter expert in service support, guiding product applications and repair triage with global partners.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Japanese.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent military experience.
- 4+ years of experience in medical device service, manufacturing, or a related technical support role.
- Ability to work independently and lead others toward meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
- Must be available to work in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in product management, especially with respiratory care devices like mechanical ventilators.
- Background in customer service or phone-based technical support.
- Familiarity with FRU service processes.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

- Remote work eligible with domestic and international travel up to 40%.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Service, and Product teams.
