Senior Technical Product Specialist - Medical Devices

Remote: PST Time Zone


Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical liaison for medical device support, ensuring effective communication across international teams-particularly in Japanese and English.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Product Support and Monitoring teams to meet shared goals while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose device issues, including use-case analysis, service log interpretation, and component testing.
  • Engage in hands-on work with device assembly/disassembly and Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) service models.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in service support, guiding product applications and repair triage with global partners.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Japanese.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent military experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in medical device service, manufacturing, or a related technical support role.
  • Ability to work independently and lead others toward meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and process improvement skills.
  • Must be available to work in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in product management, especially with respiratory care devices like mechanical ventilators.
  • Background in customer service or phone-based technical support.
  • Familiarity with FRU service processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

  • Clean, temperature-controlled workspace.
  • Remote work eligible with domestic and international travel up to 40%.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Service, and Product teams.
