Position Summary
Our client is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Technical Sales Manager to drive growth in their cheese and dairy ingredients portfolio. This role combines deep product knowledge with strategic sales expertise to deliver tailored solutions to industrial and foodservice clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share in the cheese and dairy ingredients segment.
- Serve as a technical advisor to customers, providing insights on product applications, formulations, and performance.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to develop customized solutions based on client needs.
- Manage key accounts, build long-term relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical training, and presentations for clients and internal teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product development and positioning.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM data management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales within the food or dairy industry.
- Strong understanding of cheese manufacturing processes and dairy ingredient functionality.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 40%
