About the Role

Our client is seeking a District Manager to lead sales growth, customer relationships, and field service operations within the Food & Beverage market. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing territory sales strategies, growing revenue, managing district profitability, and leading a team of field service professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background selling water solutions to food and beverage manufacturers, along with experience managing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and overseeing district performance. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on business growth while serving as a trusted advisor to customers and leading a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional service and technical solutions.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience selling water solutions to food & beverage manufacturers
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience
  • Proven track record of driving territory growth and expanding customer relationships
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Background in water treatment technologies, applications, and solutions
  • Experience managing customer accounts within food and beverage production facilities
  • Ability to lead and develop field service or technical support teams
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management
  • Strong business development and consultative sales experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in a scientific, engineering, or technical discipline
  • Strong understanding of water treatment programs, systems, and customer applications
  • Experience supporting food, beverage, dairy, brewery, meat processing, or related manufacturing facilities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills
  • Ability to analyze market opportunities and develop strategic growth plans
  • Proven ability to build long-term customer partnerships at multiple organizational levels
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading teams in a service-oriented, industrial, or technical sales environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving both customer satisfaction and revenue growth
