Head of Operation and Transformation, Logistic
About the Role
A greenfield leadership role responsible for building and leading end-to-end warehousing and logistics operations from the ground up. You will drive operational strategy, establish scalable processes, and lead digital transformation to support rapid business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Materials Flow
- Lead end-to-end logistics from inbound to final delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and compliance.
- Manage international shipments, customs processes, and documentation to enable smooth operations.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Establish robust inventory control processes to ensure accuracy, visibility, and on-time delivery.
- Design and optimize warehouse layout, capacity, and operations for scalable growth.
Leadership & 3PL Management
- Build and lead high-performing teams with clear KPIs and development plans.
- Manage 3PL partners and vendor performance to meet SLA and service expectations.
Operational Excellence
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve end-to-end supply chain performance.
Digital Transformation & Systems
- Implement and optimize logistics systems including ERP (e.g. SAP), WMS, and Power BI dashboards.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve visibility, reporting, and decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven leadership in warehousing and logistics operations within complex environments.
- Experience in greenfield setup or transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in warehouse design, inventory management, and 3PL governance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP), WMS, and analytics tools (Power BI).
- Demonstrated success in Lean Six Sigma / continuous improvement initiatives.
