Production Supervisor
One of our clients in the heavy manufacturing/automotive industry is looking for a Production supervisor. The person will lead and develop a production team in a high-volume manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, efficient operations while driving performance in quality, delivery, and cost.
Location: Greater Roanoke, VA
Title: Production Supervisor
Compensation: $80,000-100,000
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams while fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Drive daily production performance by meeting safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and efficiency goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve manufacturing performance.
- Develop employee training plans, address skill gaps, and ensure workforce readiness and compliance.
- Leverage data, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and strengthen team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- 4+ years of experience in production or manufacturing operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence practices.
- Experience within automotive, commercial vehicle, or related manufacturing industries is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and engage teams in a fast-paced production environment.
