Country Supply Chain Transformation Director
We are seeking a senior supply chain leader to drive large-scale transformation, organisational capability, and operational excellence across a complex manufacturing and supply chain environment.
This role will partner with country and regional leadership teams to assess supply chain maturity, develop future capabilities, and implement programmes that improve performance across manufacturing, planning, logistics, procurement, quality, safety, and sustainability.
Approximately 50% of the role is focused on strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and business transformation, with the remaining 50% focused on leading specialist teams and capability-building initiatives across the supply chain organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain transformation across planning, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, quality and safety.
- Assess organisational maturity and develop capability roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
- Design and implement leadership and functional development programmes.
- Build future talent pipelines and succession plans across the supply chain organisation.
- Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement and best practice adoption.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape long-term supply chain strategy.
- Lead teams responsible for capability development, transformation and continuous improvement.
- Establish frameworks and programmes to improve both organisational and individual functional capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business or related field.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of supply chain, operations or manufacturing leadership experience.
- 7+ years operating at Director or Senior Director level within a complex multinational environment.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end supply chain transformation programmes.
- Experience across multiple supply chain disciplines including planning, manufacturing, logistics and procurement.
- Strong understanding of organisational capability development and supply chain excellence frameworks.
- Demonstrated success leading large teams through senior functional leaders.
- Experience working within matrix organisations and influencing executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and business leadership capability.
- Excellent communication, change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, industrial, chemicals, life sciences or similarly complex environments preferred.
