Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to drive forecast accuracy and inventory optimization across a diverse product portfolio. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to translate market signals, sales trends, and consumer behavior into actionable demand plans that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, trend analysis, and market intelligence
- Collaborate with merchandising, sales, finance, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with business strategies
- Analyze forecast performance and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, bias, and responsiveness
- Translate demand plans into supply requirements, supporting inventory optimization and service level targets
- Lead demand review meetings, providing insights on risks, opportunities, and key drivers of demand variability
- Monitor product performance, seasonality trends, and external factors to proactively adjust forecasts
- Support new product launches with demand projections and scenario planning
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting tools, processes, and data utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 3-7+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
- Experience with forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear business insights
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
