GMP Manufacturing Engineer | Singapore
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, yield, quality, and operational performance
- Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with Quality, Validation, Facilities, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to support production requirements
- Participate in root cause investigations, CAPA activities, and deviation management
- Develop and update manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process documentation
- Support equipment qualification, process validation, and engineering change activities
- Ensure compliance with GMP regulations, SOPs, and company quality standards
- Contribute to lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
- Exposure to cleanroom manufacturing operations is highly preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, process improvement methodologies, and root cause analysis tools
- Familiar with deviation investigations, CAPA, change control, and validation activities
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, or life sciences manufacturing environments is advantageous
