Privately held manufacturing and distribution company that designs, produces, and supplies residential and commercial building products through a national network.

The Human Resources Director will be responsible for:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, providing guidance, coaching, and support on talent and employee-related matters.
  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals while overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Lead investigations, recommend resolutions, and support corrective action processes while ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Drive performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.
  • Prepare and maintain HR compliance reports and workforce KPIs while ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Identify training needs, support employee development programs, and implement process improvements to increase HR efficiency and accuracy.

The Human Resources Director should have the following qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience with expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance.
  • Strong background supporting manufacturing, distribution, or other fast-paced operational environments.
  • Deep knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, with the ability to influence leaders, manage complex employee issues, and drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Bachelor's degree required
