Maintenance Manager
About the Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our high-speed packaging facility. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical experience, proven leadership skills, and a drive for equipment reliability and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily maintenance activities, including equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and facility upkeep
Lead a team of technicians and shift leads to ensure safe, efficient, and timely maintenance support
Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Minimize unplanned downtime through proactive equipment monitoring and process improvement
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support line changeovers, installations, and upgrades
Manage parts inventory, vendors, and maintenance budgets
Ensure compliance with all OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations
Maintain accurate records using a CMMS system and report on maintenance KPIs
Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
✅ 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
✅ 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
✅ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, pneumatics, and industrial electrical systems
✅ Proficient with CMMS software and maintenance documentation
✅ Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
✅ Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
✅ Strong commitment to safety and team development
Preferred:
Experience in high-speed or automated packaging lines
Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and control systems
Background in Lean, TPM, or continuous improvement practices
OSHA 30 certification or similar safety training
