Site Manager

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Reports To: Director of Operations & Supply Chain

Role Overview

The Site Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the manufacturing location, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations in support of business objectives. This role provides both strategic and hands‑on leadership to drive operational performance, continuous improvement, and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

As the senior leader onsite, you will be accountable for meeting customer commitments while maintaining high standards across safety, quality, cost control, productivity, and service. Success in this role requires strong leadership presence, operational discipline, and the ability to translate strategy into execution.

Core Responsibilities

Leadership & People

  • Lead and develop the site organization to support operational and business goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement at all levels of the site.
  • Identify, develop, and retain leadership and technical talent.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Set the standard for safety and quality by leading through example.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable regulatory requirements across the entire site, including support functions.
  • Monitor Environmental, Health, and Safety performance and drive actions to continuously reduce risk.
  • Ensure corrective actions related to safety, quality, and compliance are properly executed and sustained.

Operations & Performance Management

  • Drive consistent execution across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost metrics.
  • Establish, review, and improve key performance indicators; lead recovery plans when performance falls short.
  • Promote operational discipline, standard work, and effective problem‑solving practices.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective action efforts for critical operational issues.

Financial & Business Execution

  • Deliver site performance in line with operating plans and budgets.
  • Manage expenses, productivity, and production performance to meet financial commitments.
  • Support working capital objectives through effective inventory and operational planning.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, throughput, yield, quality, and safety.
  • Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Evaluate process improvements and new technologies that support efficiency, growth, and competitiveness.
  • Challenge the organization to simplify processes and eliminate non‑value‑added work.

Communication & Alignment

  • Act as the primary liaison between the site and broader organizational teams.
  • Ensure clear, timely communication across all departments and leadership levels.
  • Align site priorities with platform and business unit strategies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering‑related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations and/or engineering.
  • 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve and sustain operational performance metrics.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proven capability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive accountability.

Preferred

  • Labor relations experience.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma concepts.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or eligible protected individual.
  • Must have or be able to obtain required security clearance.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $190,000- $220,000
