Sr Process Control Engineer
Salary: $100,000-$120,000

A leading global chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Process Control Engineer to lead the management of instrumentation and process controls across the company. The Senior Process Control Engineer will be a critical member of the Engineering Department in Tulsa, Oklahoma to provide technical support for plants producing vital industrial components.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process controls, distributed control systems (DCS), and field instrumentation.
- Ensure all instrumentation and control system designs comply with industry standards and internal engineering guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and review of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Develop and maintain engineering standards for instrumentation, control strategies, DCS installations, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and system communications.
- Oversee the centralized data historian system and ensure seamless integration with plant-level systems.
- Create project schedules and determine manpower requirements for DCS-related initiatives.
- Specify and procure DCS hardware and components.
- Manage and maintain plant DCS systems, including logic development and HMI graphics.
- Ensure all changes to control systems follow formal management of change (MOC) procedures.
- Support training and development of plant technicians in DCS operations and maintenance.
- Lead projects to upgrade and enhance reliability of control systems.
- Participate in turnaround planning and emergency response efforts as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to support system reliability.

Candidate Profile:
- High energy, collaborative, and detail-oriented with strong project management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Qualifications:
- Engineering degree required, Chemical or Electrical preferred
- 10-15 years of experience preferred
- DCS experience with Emerson DeltaV required
- PLC and System Interfaces experience required
- Experience with OSISoft PI Enterprise Server is strongly preferred
- Project management and plant experience preferred
