Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Facilities
A leading national property management and development firm is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Lead to join their growing procurement team. This role is focused on sourcing and managing vendor relationships for facilities maintenance-related commodities and services, including janitorial, landscaping, pest control, HVAC, and cleaning supplies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives for facilities maintenance categories, including service-based and consumable goods.
- Develop and manage RFI/RFP processes, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality service delivery and cost efficiency.
- Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand service needs and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with supplier agreements and service level expectations.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within facilities maintenance or property services.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred, open to Associate's Degree with additional experience
- Strong background in negotiating service-based contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in spend analysis and supplier performance metrics.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on driving value and efficiency.
