About the Company
Our client is a rapidly growing organization within the biotech and pharmaceutical sector, supporting innovative healthcare solutions across China and global markets. With continuous expansion in manufacturing, R&D, and commercial operations, they are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager -China to strengthen end-to-end supply chain capabilities and drive operational excellence.
The Opportunity
This role will oversee supply chain operations for the China market, covering demand planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, contract manufacturing coordination, and supplier management within a highly regulated biotech/pharma environment.
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, analytical, and experienced in managing complex supply chains across regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations for China markets
- Drive demand planning, S&OP, inventory optimization, and supply continuity
- Coordinate with manufacturing, QA, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure timely product availability
- Monitor logistics and distribution performance, including cold chain transportation where applicable
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and local regulatory requirements
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions
- Improve supply chain processes, cost efficiency, and operational KPIs
- Support new product launches, transfer projects, and business expansion initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related disciplines
- 8-10+ years of supply chain experience within biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical devices
- Strong knowledge of China supply chain operations and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in planning, inventory management, and logistics operations
- Familiarity with GMP/GDP standards and regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability
- Experience using ERP systems is desired
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
