System-on-Chip Project/Program Manager

An innovative international semiconductor company is seeking a Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of next-generation integrated circuit development programmes.
Working at the intersection of engineering, product management and technology innovation, you will coordinate complex development activities across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects progress efficiently from concept through to product release.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution and monitoring of complex semiconductor product development programmes.
- Coordinate activities across IC design, system architecture, verification, software, product engineering and business teams.
- Build and maintain project schedules, resource plans and milestone tracking.
- Identify programme risks and drive mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Facilitate communication between technical experts, project stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Support the alignment of technical objectives, product requirements and commercial timelines.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management.
- Collaborate with external development partners, suppliers and technology providers where required.
- Drive continuous improvements to project execution, reporting and development processes.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Previous experience managing semiconductor, ASIC, SoC or embedded systems development projects.
- Understanding of integrated circuit development lifecycles and cross-functional engineering environments.
- Experience coordinating geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a technically complex environment.
- Experience working within wireless connectivity, low-power electronics, embedded systems or related technologies would be advantageous.
- PMP, Prince2 or equivalent project management certification is beneficial but not essential.
