Plant Engineering Manager
This company is seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to join their leadership team. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for developing and executing the plant's technical strategy, leading major capital initiatives, overseeing utilities, and driving continuous improvement efforts that support safety, quality, cost, and service objectives. What You'll Do
- Lead and execute the plant's capital project portfolio, managing multi-million-dollar engineering projects from planning through startup.
- Develop and implement plant engineering and technical strategies that improve reliability, efficiency, safety, and production performance.
- Oversee all plant utility systems, ensuring compliance, reliability, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives by partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Sanitation, and Finance teams.
- Drive the Early Management Pillar and startup excellence, supporting new equipment installations, low-loss systems, and operational capability development.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (likely Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or similar).
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience in food manufacturing.
- Proven experience leading multi-million-dollar capital projects, including project management, equipment installation, and startup execution.
