Western Regional Sales Manager - Architects, Contractors and Developers
A fast-growing U.S. based consumer goods manufacturing company is seeking a (Remote!!) dynamic Regional Sales Manager to spearhead sales efforts in the Western U.S. The role involves building strong relationships and driving sales growth with key stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and developers on the ground through new projects. Candidates will possess extensive sales and account management experience and can/have forged relationships in the building products or construction sectors, with an emphasis on b2b transactions.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategy in the western United States to drive market share, targeting architects, contractors, and developers.
- Client relationships building: Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring that our products are suited for projects of all sizes and scopes.
- Market expansion: Identify new opportunities and cultivate partnerships to drive sales in new territories, while also managing and growing existing accounts across the Western region.
- Project management: Oversee the project cycle from start to finish, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration between all departments and parties involved.
- Negotiation and closing: Ensure favorable terms are met through driving negotiations with contractors, builders, and architects, looking out for the best interests of each side.
The Regional Sales Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales management, account management, or business development within the building products, construction, or related industries.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the building and construction industry, including working with architects, contractors, and developers. Understanding of construction specifications and project timelines is a plus.
- Sales Expertise: Proven ability to manage and grow a regional territory, build long-lasting client relationships, and achieve sales targets
