About the Role
A growing food manufacturer is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead second-shift operations and ensure safe, efficient warehouse performance. This role oversees inventory, shipping, receiving, team leadership, and compliance with food safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and inventory activities.
- Lead and develop warehouse employees while managing schedules and staffing.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to meet operational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement and warehouse efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in food manufacturing or CPG.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with WMS, ERP, or inventory management systems preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Work Environment
- 2nd Shift: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.
- Experience working around forklifts and material handling equipment preferred.
