Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership
- Develop and execute the APAC commercial strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion.
- Lead all regional sales, business development, channel management, and strategic account activities.
- Expand market penetration across industrial manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, laboratory technologies, analytical instrumentation, and process industries.
- Build executive-level relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Establish commercial excellence disciplines across forecasting, pricing, sales effectiveness, and customer engagement.
Business Growth & Strategy
- Identify new market opportunities, adjacent sectors, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Partner with global leadership to develop and execute regional business plans.
- Drive market expansion through organic growth, strategic partnerships, and potential acquisition opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to maintain market leadership.
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial organization across APAC.
- Build a strong succession and talent development pipeline.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Operations, Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver business objectives.
Board-Level Responsibilities
- Serve as an active Board Member, contributing to corporate governance, strategic planning, and long-term value creation.
- Provide commercial insights and market intelligence to support key business decisions.
- Participate in investment discussions, business transformation initiatives, and regional expansion plans.
- Act as a senior ambassador for the organization across customers, industry associations, and strategic partners.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related discipline. MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of leadership experience within industrial technology, precision instruments, analytical instrumentation, industrial automation, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor equipment, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success leading regional commercial organizations across Asia Pacific.
- Strong track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and organizational development.
- Extensive network across manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, laboratory, industrial processing, and technology-driven customer environments.
- Experience working directly with executive leadership teams, shareholders, and Boards.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership capability, and commercial acumen.
- Ability to operate effectively within a global, matrixed organization.
