Territory Manager, Environmental Solutions - Pacific Northwest

Location: Tacoma, WA (Remote within Territory)
Territory: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska
Travel: Approximately 50%+
Compensation: $95,000-$100,000 Base Salary + Incentive Opportunity

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to lead sales growth across the Pacific Northwest region. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and serving as a trusted advisor to customers through a consultative sales approach.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a multi-state territory, building long-term customer relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales planning, prospecting, and account management.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Growth & Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska through new business acquisition and account expansion.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned markets.
  • Execute consultative sales strategies that clearly communicate value and ROI to customers.
  • Develop territory plans, sales forecasts, and pipeline strategies to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Deliver compelling customer presentations, proposals, and solution recommendations.

Account Management & Customer Success

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Develop account growth strategies focused on retention, penetration, and long-term partnership development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Proactively address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Selling

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Support value-based pricing and competitive positioning initiatives.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and areas for product or service expansion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal sales leadership, customer experience, marketing, and operations teams to support customer success.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams regarding inventory availability and production capacity.
  • Collaborate on sales programs, promotional initiatives, and customer-specific solutions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of B2B field sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience with consultative selling, territory management, and account development.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Experience managing a multi-state territory.
  • Background in environmental services, industrial solutions, manufacturing, logistics, packaging, sustainability, or related industries.
  • Strong forecasting and pipeline management capabilities.
