DSJ Global is partnering with a leading international logistics organisation to appoint a Business Development Manager - Contract Logistics for their growing Benelux commercial team.
About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager who thrives on opening new doors, building a high‑quality prospect pipeline, and delivering tailored logistics solutions for customers across multiple industries. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic business development and hands‑on client engagement.
In this position, you will focus on securing new opportunities within key sectors such as retail, healthcare, high‑tech/consumer electronics, and industrial supply chains. You will play a central role in expanding the organisation's contract logistics footprint and contributing directly to long‑term revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and convert a targeted pipeline of new business opportunities in contract logistics.
- Build strong relationships with prospective customers and guide them through the full commercial cycle - from initial outreach through to contract signature.
- Work closely with operations, solutions design, finance, and tender management teams to shape comprehensive logistics proposals that address client needs.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of value‑driven solutions for customer tenders and RFPs.
- Maintain accurate commercial tracking and follow‑up through CRM tools.
- Act as a strategic ambassador for the organisation in the Benelux market and collaborate with international colleagues across the wider network.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in logistics, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial role within logistics or supply chain
- Strong understanding of contract logistics and broader supply chain solutions
- Established network within relevant industries is considered an advantage
- Ability to translate customer challenges into integrated logistics concepts
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and CRM systems
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach
