Business Development Manager - LNG

A leading global LSP is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within its LNG and new energies portfolio. In this strategic role, you will identify, evaluate, and develop large‑scale infrastructure opportunities - including greenfield, brownfield, mergers and acquisitions - together with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new commercial opportunities within the LNG and energy market and evaluate their strategic potential.
  • Develop investment proposals for new terminals, expansions, and potential acquisitions.
  • Lead or support business development initiatives in collaboration with international teams.
  • Build financial and strategic business cases for new infrastructure projects and present them to senior leadership.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Structure and negotiate partnership models, joint ventures, and long‑term commercial agreements.
  • Oversee negotiations for major contracts related to LNG storage and terminal services.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in the LNG market, ideally in commercial development or project origination.
  • Strong understanding of LNG infrastructure, supply chains, market players, and regulatory environments.
  • Proven ability to lead complex commercial negotiations and close large‑scale deals.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management, and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable working across cultures, time zones, and multidisciplinary teams.
