Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's footprint in the international logistics market. Responsible for driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring sales strategies align with global objectives, this role requires a dynamic professional with deep industry knowledge and a proactive approach to business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Growth Strategy:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing structures, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key clients, providing tailored logistics solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing needs with innovative supply chain strategies.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively resolve challenges to maintain long-term relationships.

Sales Process & Market Execution:

  • Drive adherence to the Global Sales Process, ensuring consistent implementation across teams.
  • Lead business development initiatives within a specific segment, requiring specialized industry expertise.
  • Provide market analysis and sales forecasts to support decision-making.

Operational & Strategic Alignment:

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with the company's Sales Goals and Action Plan (GSP).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, trade regulations, and market shifts to maintain a competitive edge.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Oversee designated customer accounts and high-priority prospects.
  • Lead targeted sales campaigns to maximize business opportunities in key sectors.
  • Participate in industry events to foster business partnerships and expand networks.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development and sales, preferably in international logistics.
  • Strong market analysis, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Expertise in global supply chain management and trade regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
