Title: Continuous Improvement Manager
Salary: $105,000-145,000

A large-scale food manufacturing company with a long history in providing quality food to customers nationwide. They are dedicated to growing and developing their workforce of over 15,000 employees to continue providing exceptional service in their industry. In this role, you will lead and help the team eliminate waste and promote best practices. This position partners cross-functionally to enhance performance systems, strengthen lean methodologies, and build a sustainable culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead CI initiatives - Drive plant-wide continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, TPM and other OpEx methodologies
- Coach and mentor leaders across all CPS (Continuous Performance System) or TPM pillars to ensure consistent
- application and maturity of improvement systems
- Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, prioritize opportunities, and execute structured problem-solving initiatives (e.g., root cause analysis, Kaizen events)
- Support and hold teams accountable for meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
- Leverage and promote digital tools, automation systems, and data analytics platforms to enhance decision-making and operational visibility
- Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to standardize processes, improve workflows, and sustain operational gains
- Build organizational capability by training employees at all levels on continuous improvement methodologies and fostering a culture of accountability and engagement
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in food or CPG manufacturing, or a related industrial environment
- 7+ years in TPM based improvements, lean manufacturing, Six sigma, and related systems
- 7+ years of leadership experience, with demonstrated success leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Experience with digital manufacturing tools, MES systems, or data analytics platforms preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or higher) preferred
Physical requirements:
- Walk facilities, climb ladders, kneel and tasks requiring hand eye coordination.
- May have to lift and carry various materials varying in weight and size.
- High noise levels and temperature variations.
