Position Summary
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing processes. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects across production and support functions.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact.
- Train and mentor teams on Lean tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure sustainable improvements.
- Support digital transformation and automation initiatives where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
- Proven track record of leading successful improvement projects.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification preferred.
