Continuous Improvement Manager
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading food and beverage manufacturer who is looking to add a strong Continuous Improvement Manager to their team. This individual will be responsible for foster a culture of daily learning and operational excellence, driving consistent, world-class results.
Responsibilities
- Champion and guide the adoption of best practices within the Conagra Performance System (CPS), offering strategic direction and motivation.
- Actively contribute as a member of the Leadership Team, aligning engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to advance CPS initiatives.
- Analyze key operational losses and use data-driven insights to prioritize and implement solutions.
- Partner with the Plant Manager to align improvement efforts with facility-wide goals and execution strategies.
- Evaluate the plant's readiness for CPS integration and tailor implementation to match current capabilities.
- Lead Reliability Improvement Plans (RIP), including action planning and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with Department Managers to develop, validate, and maintain Standard Work documentation, ensuring continuous improvement and training alignment.
- Support the transition to Autonomous Maintenance practices and centerline operations within production teams.
- Provide guidance to pillar and platform leads (e.g., 5S, Safety, Maintenance, Focused Improvement).
- Mentor team members through direct engagement and process audits to elevate performance.
- Facilitate skill-building in feedback exchange, root cause analysis, decision-making, and communication.
- Reinforce CPS principles through consistent coaching and evaluation across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of CI experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams through problem-solving, data analysis, and CPS
- Familiarity with production systems and maintenance operations.
- Ability to interpret complex technical data and apply it to both abstract and practical challenges.
