Continuous Improvement Manager
DSJ Global is currently partnering with a leading third-party logistics provider to appoint a Continuous Improvement manager for a key warehouse operation based in Schiphol.
This role is focused on driving continuous improvement initiatives, implementing innovation, and enhancing productivity across a large-scale logistics environment.
We are looking for a candidate with strong project management and presentation capabilities, a background in logistics engineering, and a mindset geared towards innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead end-to-end logistics engineering projects, ensuring delivery within defined timelines and scope
- Analyse current warehouse and logistics processes, identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Develop and deliver clear presentations to stakeholders on project updates, findings, and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and automation initiatives
- Support warehouse layout and design planning (including use of AutoCAD where applicable)
- Monitor KPIs and track the success of continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the site
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within logistics or supply chain
- Proven experience delivering projects within a logistics or warehouse environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Data-driven mindset with experience in analysis and reporting
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), Excel, and logistics technologies
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous
- Lean or project management certifications are a plus
