As the Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for…
- Leading automation and control system projects from concept through commission
- Designing and updating using AutoCAD for small-scale projects
- Tuning and evaluating control loop performance using X-Y plots
- Working with engineers, operations management, maintenance personnel, and contractors to develop and meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements
- Developing documentation packages, including BOMs, cable schedules, and preventative maintenance plans
- Providing support through commissioning and startup while directing maintenance personnel on control systems
The Controls Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Engineering
- Experience as a Controls Engineer, or similar
- Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell / Allen Bradley and Siemens is a plus)
- Preferred experience with AC and DC drives (Yaskawa, Siemens, and Rockwell experience is a plus)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work on a team
