Job Title: Corporate Planning (Data Collection and Reporting-Japan)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Planning to join our team in Japan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting relevant data, assisting in market analysis, and preparing detailed reports that support strategic decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of the corporate planning process.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis:
Gather relevant data from various internal departments (sales, operations, finance, etc.) to support corporate planning initiatives. Collect external market data, industry trends, and competitor information relevant to corporate strategy and business performance. Organize and maintain databases to ensure that data is easily accessible and up to date for reporting purposes.
Assist in the analysis of collected data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Reporting:
Prepare and compile regular reports related to business performance, market conditions, and strategic progress.
Assist in the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate performance reports to be presented to senior management in Europe and HQ Japan.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that the data is accurately reflected in reports.
Support the preparation of business performance summaries and presentations for meetings with top management and stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Corporate Planning team and other departments (e.g., Branch Managers, finance, operations) to ensure accurate data collection and report creation. Participate in corporate planning meetings to provide updates on data collection and analysis, offering insights into performance trends and potential areas for improvement.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain detailed and organized records of all collected data and reports for easy reference.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by cross-checking sources and conducting regular audits.
Ad-Hoc Support:
organise YTE corporate events
Assist with ad-hoc reporting requests or specific projects as needed, providing timely and accurate information.
Qualifications:
Experience: least 3 years of experience in a corporate planning, data analysis, or business intelligence role (preferred).
Skills:
Strong proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
Attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy.
Ability to compile complex data into clear, concise reports and presentations.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of business trends and the corporate planning process.
Proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken) and understanding of the local business environment (preferred).
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with standard office hours.
The role may require occasional overtime to meet deadlines or reporting schedules.
