Role Overview

As the Demand Planning Manager - Europe, you will be responsible for leading the demand planning process across multiple markets and product categories. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting, optimal inventory levels, and efficient production planning. Your insights will directly impact customer satisfaction, working capital, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly demand planning cycle across European markets using statistical forecasting tools and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to incorporate promotional plans, new product launches, and market trends into forecasts.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Drive the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Supply Planning and Production teams to ensure capacity alignment and inventory optimization.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track performance and support decision-making.
  • Act as a key liaison between regional teams and global planning functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, APO, Oracle, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with cross-functional teams.
