The Design Engineer will be responsible for…
- Designing, developing, and configuring product variations, standardized design procedures, and ensuring efficiency and consistency while meeting customer-specific requirements
- Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing and order fulfillment
- Create detailed 3D models and drawings using Creo
- Collaborate cross-functionally to incorporate the Voice of the Customer into product designs
- Evaluate designs for risk, manufacturability, cost, and performance
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure product integrity
- Support prototype builds and validation testing to verify safety and performance
- Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply lessons learned to enhance existing products and resolve field issues
The Design Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural / Biological, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally in product design/development
- Experience taking products from concept through production release
