Director of Business Development

The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving growth across two key business segments: utility sales and foundation repair solutions. In addition, will hold responsibilities for growing and developing a high performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains consistent engagement with key prospects and distributor contacts to ensure product visibility and brand recall.
  • Communicates the organization's unique value proposition to drive market interest and differentiation.
  • Achieves and surpasses sales targets and performance metrics through strategic sales leadership.
  • Leverages CRM tools to build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to analyze market trends and anticipate competitive shifts.
  • Designs and executes sales strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Oversees the customer journey from initial order through fulfilment and delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for new market segments.
  • Leads initiatives that empower the team to deliver impactful solutions tailored to client goals.
  • Maintains accurate records of product details, pricing, sales activity, and order logistics.
  • Develops outreach strategies to connect with high-potential decision-makers and expand market reach.
  • Enhances team capabilities in up-selling and cross-selling, while partnering on targeted marketing efforts.
  • Incorporates client feedback to inform product development and service enhancements.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support successful product launches.
  • Engages prospective clients to assess needs and present relevant product and service options.
  • Stays informed on product offerings and competitor solutions to recommend optimal choices based on customer priorities.
  • Provides product documentation and coordinates technical support as needed.
  • Works closely with operations to resolve production challenges related to scheduling, staffing, materials, quality, and logistics.
  • May contribute to the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
