Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Demand Planning to lead the demand planning function across Greater China. This role will be responsible for driving forecast accuracy, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and enabling supply chain agility to support business growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in demand planning, S&OP, and data-driven decision-making within a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Demand Planning function for Greater China, covering multiple business units and product lines.
- Develop and implement robust forecasting processes using statistical models, market intelligence, and sales inputs.
- Drive the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between commercial, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to optimize inventory levels, reduce obsolescence, and improve service levels.
- Leverage advanced planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, etc.) to enhance forecast accuracy and visibility.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of demand planners across the region.
- Provide executive-level reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning maturity and responsiveness to market changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field;
- 10-15+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or operations within a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing regional or multi-country planning teams.
- Strong understanding of S&OP, forecasting tools, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
