Position Overview
Join a global leader in methanol production at a state-of-the-art facility in St. James, LA. We are seeking a high-impact Electrical Engineer to provide hands-on support for plant electrical systems and contribute to instrumentation projects. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the go-to expert for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and new equipment specifications
Develop and optimize electrical Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and schedules
Ensure electrical system reliability and cost-effective performance
Conduct Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) to minimize downtime
Lead and manage electrical capital projects from concept through execution
Support instrumentation efforts, including SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) database maintenance and calculation assistance
Champion technology upgrades and best practices for reliability improvement
Ideal Candidate
Strong background in electrical systems in a plant or manufacturing setting
Comfortable with both hands-on troubleshooting and strategic project planning
Familiarity with instrumentation and SPI/Intools is a plus
Eager to innovate, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement
