Role Overview

The company is seeking an experienced Field Sales Manager to drive new business development and grow strategic customer accounts across France. This is a hands‑on, hunter‑style commercial role, focused on international freight forwarding solutions including air freight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, and value‑added logistics services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market presence by identifying opportunities, developing long‑term customer relationships, and delivering profitable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within international logistics
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across targeted industries
  • Sell air, ocean, multimodal, and customs solutions
  • Conduct face‑to‑face customer meetings to understand supply chain needs
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals with pricing and operations teams
  • Negotiate contracts in line with margin and growth objectives
  • Manage and develop key customer accounts
  • Act as the commercial interface between customers and internal teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM, reporting, and sales forecasts
  • Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events

Skills & Experience

  • Proven field sales or business development experience in freight forwarding
  • Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight operations
  • Track record of new business generation and revenue growth
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a field‑based role
  • B2B sales experience, ideally within industrial, automotive, retail, or manufacturing sectors
  • Fluent in French and English
